Tri Tool is a global leader in the design of high-performance machine tools.  More importantly, we design solutions and are problem solvers. We are uncompromising in our dedication to our clients’ success and operate with leadership, partnership, and performance at the forefront of every mission.

For more than 50 years, we have partnered with companies in major industrial markets—aerospace, government and defense, life sciences, power generation, oil and gas, and semiconductor—to design, develop, and manufacture precision machining and custom engineered tools that increase productivity, optimize costs, and accelerate delivery.

The Opportunity:
At Tri Tool, we believe people are our most powerful tool — and we’re on the lookout for a People and Culture Manager who’s ready to help build a workplace that’s as high-performing as the products we make. This is a hands-on role that blends human connection with operational rigor — perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, and wants to create clarity, consistency, and momentum for our growing team.  You’ll be the engine behind our HR programs, culture initiatives, and compliance efforts — partnering directly with
department leaders across the shop floor and the front office. Your mission: empower our people, elevate our culture, and strengthen our systems so Tri Tool remains a place where careers take shape and teams thrive.

Our Compensation and Benefits show how much we value our team:
  • Starting Pay Range $85,000-$110,000 depending on experience
  • This is a full time, exempt, salaried position
  • Medical/ Dental/ Vision
  • 401K
  • Paid Holidays/Vacation/ Paid Sick Leave

Responsibilities:
  • Implement people-focused strategies that support our operational goals, especially in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Partner with team leads to solve staffing challenges, drive engagement, and navigate performance conversations with confidence.
  • Own compliance and risk across areas like OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, and other state and federal regulations — without losing human touch.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of both hourly and salaried talent. Help us find great people and make them even better.
  • Help shape our culture — from communication to coaching to recognition, you’ll help Tri Tool stay connected, aligned, and forward-moving.
  • Ensure consistency in employee policies, investigations, and issue resolution. Be the calm in the storm when things get tricky.
  • Manage core HR functions including benefits, compensation, and wellness — with a practical eye and a people-first mindset.
  • Use data and insight to track retention, engagement, and workforce trends. What gets measured gets managed.
  • Be a bridge between leadership and the team — offering perspective, guidance, and practical problemsolving when it matters most.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a fast-moving or industrial environment.
  • A working knowledge of California employment law, safety programs, and labor compliance.
  • A track record of solving real-world people problems with clarity and empathy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you're as comfortable on the floor as in a leadership meeting.
  • HRIS experience (Paylocity a plus), Excel chops, and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with people at every level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certifications a plus.
